
William Roberts
Director of Health Inequalities, Impact and Learning
William leads our Health and Social Care work. He is interested in integrating care and finding better ways to help people live healthy and happy lives. Most of his time is spent working with clients to ensure that they are able to introduce and scale innovative approaches to care.
William joined the Innovation Unit in early 2018 from NHS England where he was a member of the senior leadership team in the New Care Models and System Transformation Group. He led their work on health and social care integration and was responsible for the successful implementation of the Enhanced Health in Care Home Vanguards.
William is a registered nurse and holds a Masters degree in Public Health. He has held a number of roles across health and social care over the last 20 years, including working in a number of Strategy roles in the NHS. He was Director for Strategy and Planning at NHS Camden and is a trustee at Terrence Higgins Trust.
