Gwenno Edwards
Innovation Consultant
Gwenno is passionate about helping people share their stories and unleash their creativity, and is fascinated by the role that place and space plays in social inequality.
She currently leads Innovation Unit’s work with Healthy London Partnership, supporting three London boroughs to enable people with mental health problems and musculoskeletal pain to stay in work or go back to work. She is also working with the NHS Confederation to create learning materials for Primary Care Networks, and is supporting the evaluation of the Health Foundation’s QLab mental health and persistent pain incubator.
Her experience includes research and community engagement, and she has worked with social enterprises, local governments and the private sector to apply user insights to strategic decisions. She studied human geography at the LSE, and also completed Year Here, a hands-on course to build smart solutions to entrenched social problems. Over the last few years she has worked on housing, youth employment and regeneration projects, and has set up a small charity.
