Daniella Radaelli
Project and Communications Support
(Australia New Zealand)
Daniella holds the role of Project and Communications Support within the Innovation Unit Australia New Zealand team. This role consists of working alongside team members across a wide variety of projects, to support the evolving needs of the project and to ensure its success. Daniella also helps to effectively communicate our organisation’s mission and impact across our various social media channels and via our website.
Daniella holds a Bachelor of Arts with majors in Law and Society and Media and Communications. She is passionate about social justice, taking a deep interest in how laws and policy impact upon the most vulnerable in our society and dedicating her study to understanding some of our most complex social issues. Her belief that things can be done differently to reduce structural inequality, drives her passion for social innovation and design as a vehicle for creating meaningful impact. Daniella is currently studying her Masters of Social Work, deepening her understanding of how social services and systems respond to complex social issues and developing the skills to work in a trauma-informed, culturally responsive and strengths-based manner with those experiencing hardship or disadvantage.
Prior to joining Innovation unit, Daniella held a range of positions across not-for-profit and private organisations that focused on research and media and communications. Alongside Innovation Unit, Daniella volunteers for a social enterprise focused on improving outcomes for young people involved in Western Australia’s justice system and runs a small enterprise of her own.
